The Skunk is a poison weapon introduced in Worms Armageddon. When thrown, the Skunk will hop off across the environment. After a bit, or when forced to do it early with an input, it will emit stinking fumes, "infecting" nearby Worms with poison, causing them to lose five points per round. If you let the stinking fumes infect the same Worm again, instead of losing five health points each turn they will lose ten. Like other sources of poison, it will leave a dying worm with only one health point, and can be cured with a Health Crate. It will then explode after a while or another fire input, causing direct damage to nearby Worms. If you're unlucky, the Skunk's poisonous gases could poison your Worm instead of the enemy (depending on the wind). You must always check the wind meter before you use it, since the poisonous gases are wind affected. It can be a good counter to Darksiders who put their Worms too close in the same tunnel, putting a sudden time limit on their Worm's life expectancy, and eventually leaving them ready to be blown up all at once with a good explosion if they don't then decide to split up their Worms.
