The bad news are, what CyberShadow wrote at 28/07/2010: "As some of you may have heard, we were planning to release the next Beta update shortly. Unfortunately, recent circumstances have required us to postpone the release for an undetermined amount of time. We are unable to disclose the reason for the delay at the moment. We

So, there are some really cool improvements planned but I guess until it's done it'll either take ages or never be done. http://wormsng.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Hey Zemke maybe that last page can be not updated.

The next patch was scheduled to be released this summer. For "Classified reasons" (or maybe not... what will happen 26th of this month?!) that released was delayed for some indeterminate time. CyberShadow told me that, maybe, it can be released at Autumn. But he is not allowed to tell the reasons for that delay, I mean, the "Classified reasons".

I don't get your point, also the update which was supposed to be released this summer is only a beta version.

My point is, that Cybershadow told me many times that the next patch would be ready to release somewheres this summer. So, the work can't be so behind schedule and, probably the infos in this pages that you are reading, can be miss updated. With the announcement of Worms Reloaded release to 26th of this month, CyberShadow and Deadcode announced "As some of you may have heard, we were planning to release the next Beta update shortly. Unfortunately, recent circumstances have required us to postpone the release for an undetermined amount of time. We are unable to disclose the reason for the delay at the moment."
After that, Cybershadow told me that, probably, the next patch will be released somewheres at next Autumn. I asked also Cybershadow that if the postponed had something to be with the WR released, and he said me "I'm not allowed to confirm or deny it". So that is my guess. I can be wrong, but I think there is a high probability that I'm not wrong. Cybershadow must obey T17 and T17, probably, is interested that people don't get much enthusiasm with WA, at the same time that a new 2d worms game for PC is released.

T17 should be happy that they got a such loyal community of a game of 1999 :). I don't think that less players would buy WR, if the new WA patch comes now.

But your guess is 90% true. ;)

fuck T17.
Cybershadow did a great job and they postponed it to next autumn because of their new useless creation?
Next autumn? You mean 2011?
I gotta order "Fuck T17" t-shirt then.
Stupid a$$holes.

useful part:

It gives us an opportunity to persuade Cybershadow to make a dc workaround.
Just a game situation reconstruction at dc moment is needed.
Nothing more.
