BNG..or medal for elemental?thats not good..if we host all schemes tourney(just no roope),then give medals..this all schemes are based on normal game, and we cant make diferences
If you can't make a difference between WfW and Intermediate then you can't make a difference between Shoppa and WfW.
Normal clan, Normal league, whatever is just too far from intermediate in style this is just not the place for it, for the sake of coherence.
The WfW tournament was allowed just to have fun, in the same way we play jetpack races and supersheep wars, if people can't play alternative tournaments hosted with the help of the tool that Kilobyte built (with the help of, not as part as our league schedule) and not complain for medals, then no more alternative tournaments.

Hysteria could be considered normal because it uses normal destructible maps with normal rules and normal weapons.

We stick to normals, no room for changing that.

It's a matter of u guys in NNN if u wanna (or not) to expand things in your "house"...
I certainly wouldn't make "medal tourneys" with alternative schemes either, but there are few schemes that could be considered as "normal" too..
BnG for example...

Other "alternative-no medal-tourneys" could be fun too...
If there's ppl with will to host them - it's a good thing for activity/popularity...

Dunno, poll the interests about alternative schemes maybe?

Well, we dont need a poll here... We just need engaged people who host regular non-intermediat tourneys. I think last WfW Tourney was a succes with 12 participants. So I'm going to host some other "alternativ" tourneys, to erase the interest for our clan. Its a kind of publicity.

i agree with Dario, but at least for me is wfw closer to intermediate than hysteria (although they're both not really close to intermediate).
close to intermediate for me means, the same skills are needed, JetPackRace (you've to be good in JetPacking like in intermediate) would be an intermediate scheme like BattleRace (you've to be good in jumping like in intermediate) or Elemental (you've to be fast like in intermediate).
hysteria instead of walk for weapons sounds strange for me.

Imo hysteria is more like bng and bng has nothing to do with normal (only destructable terrain). I could say bng is much more similar to wfw than normal. In interminade there is like 1 per billion chance that u will aim ur zooka on the other side of map without moving ur worm for hide, same goes for nades, + rules.

Only one close to intermediate is elite. Period...

"PRO" is very close to intermediate too (if we kill the banana :P) the biggest problem with that scheme is that the game doesn't have the ability to restore and incomplete game, so a disconnection simply ruins the whole game.

The fact that we lack a skill does not mean it is not an useful one. I am sure you fail to see how many times you can use the blowtorch to kill a worm. And anyway, BnG skills are a must if you are going to be good at Elite and not always choose the kind of terrain that will let you win a game with 0 BnG skills.

Besides that, the 1 anchored worm on flat terrains BnG you see being used nowadays is derived from a scheme that was basically normal. Apparently the modifications made to it (reducing the number of worms, simplifying the terrain, anchoring worms) sacrificed some things I appreciate in normal games (variety of possible shots) to force players to extremely refine some skills (accuracy and timing).

Pfff, elemental had waaaaaay more players than elite and intermediate together xD.
