Never Give Up!

Post by Wriggler »

Post your amazing comeback rounds and explain what happened!

Here, Nele made the mistake of keeping all three worms together and then made a few tactical mistakes and a mistake with roping into the petrol. I used some standard darksiding tactics and came back to win.

Screwed it up a bit, but making him use ws, rope and holy (hoping they wouldn't die) and then tempting him to use blowtorch and pile himself for cows were part of the plan.

Here an old replay of sabre, I didnt turned it into a win, but a draw was equal important then a win in this situation. Regarding I didnt had many weapons left and Sabre didnt want to do any mistakes I was pretty happy about my kami working in last second...

here is my comeback
4 vs 1
hp: 165 vs 28

nothing spectacular because it wasn't a league... just a funner
plus it was mostly about opponents bl's (especcially that nade and of course bad rope shot) but can be used as an another example for those who quit league games saying that it is not their day...
everything can change in a few moves.. it's worms

I think 90% of my games are comebacks if i think of HP, not number of worms :P
SirG played sometimes like this, accelerating in last 5 min of the game :D
Even my clock at morning sounds ''tac-tic'' instead of ''tic-tac''.

Ye but since numer of worms is more important then HP(especially at caves) its not 'comback'
Sirgorash was just a very smart and well skilled player... so he could destroy U like Bytor and own like X worm:)

yes i remember even in those lame days of mine i ve managed to notice that his tactics and strategy depends on an opponent... From few games vs he got that i couldn't give a good fight after i loose few worms... so he rushed me in all games from the start. And i guess same thing vs you... he noticed you are strategic and concentrated... so he kind of adapted his strategy

Yup, that's the key for winning... at least i value it the most. Adaptation is key to survival... and as i am not so skilled i can manage trough this ''key'' to win some of the best wormers :P ... even fad envy this skill although i don't think he fully knows what this is :D
